I picked up my VZW S3 at launch and, as soon as it was available, rooted it and unlocked the bootloader. I also disabled some other feature that was forcing phones to perform upgrades. So, my phone is stock and I'm feeling like I'm missing out on security and features that I'd like to pick up. I used CM back on my old Dinc but I think I'd rather stick with something closer to Touchwiz so I'm not sacrificing any of the nicer features Samsung built into it (camera, S Beam).

I just updated my ClockworkMod version and am now performing a backup.

I'm thinking, after that is complete, I'll perform a backup of apps only (not data) via Titanium Backup.

Next step is to see if I can download and install a Touchwiz ROM (CleanROM?) via ROM Manager. Select Wipe Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache.

Is there anything I'm missing?

OK, so ROM Manager can not download CleanROM so I downloaded it to my computer. Before I transfer it over to the phone's SD card, do I need to unzip the ROM package?

No zip files are for flashing with recovery. Remember to factory reset and clear your cache's before flashing. Good luck.
