Challenging question, I guess.

Hey there, guys!

I'm wondering if there is a way to flash a custom rom without affecting networks & data settings. My GS3 is from a local company, and if I install a custom rom, every setting got wipped out. Any pro in here?

PD. I got a LTE provisioning method from my carrier, but I tried once with a custom rom, and it didn't worked.

Welcome to the forums. I didn't think that would matter, but in your case it does. Which ROM did you flash?

Thanks!

Actually I'm running a stock rom from my local carrier, made by UltiMobile. It's android 4.1.2. But if you are talking about custom roms, I'd tried Carbon, CM 10.1, JellyBam. I'm not sure if I'd tried others.

The problem is that, my phone is the Verizon model (SCH-I535), but the firmware has been adapted/made for running LTE here in Puerto Rico.

It might just be the way they have their software setup. Would a GSM phone work better on that network?
