Re: GS3 on cm10?
Sprint's bootloader is unlockable. Verizon is the only US carrier that had their bootloader locked down with the exception of the dev model from Verizon.

Re: GS3 on cm10?
You're welcome. There are couple of minor bugs, but overall it is surprisingly smooth for a first release

Re: GS3 on cm10?
I have been using the CM 10 for about a day and I am loving it. I dont care for the contacts, its lacking. I prefer the ICS stock contacts but I should be able to find an add on. I get better coverage so far as well, much stronger signal.

Re: GS3 on cm10?
Have you guys had problems losing your phone numbers programming?
Under settings my number and min shows as unknown and then I'm unable to send MMS but data seems to work on and off.
It started working and then out of nowhere was lost. I wiped through CM (not recovery) and I got it back. just kinda wondering if I'll continue to have the same issues or if that was a fluke - 07-29-2012, 10:10 PM

Re: GS3 on cm10?
Wouldn't hold my breath on that as Verizon won't be unlocking it. And at this point, an unlocked bootloader is pretty much negligible as it really isn't holding us back as we have kexec for custom kernels. Only real impact it might have would possibly be increased developer support.
As for CM10, 4G data was pretty solid for me on the 7/23 build. I ended up going back to a touchwiz rom due to the quirky volume adjustment and lack of nfc support for google wallet. Camera and mms could be a little wonky but pretty much everything else was perfectly stable. - 07-30-2012, 10:41 AM

I must have had an outdated release. My experience for cm10 was battery life decreased BIG TIME, mms didn't work, signal went for 3-4 bars to 0-1, I didn't see it connect to 4G at all, when I clicked you tube vids phone would crash.
The good was launcher wise it was silky smooth. Just to many other bugs for me to deal with. Now I'm on beans custom stripped stock rom

Re: GS3 on cm10?
Im running the most recent version of CM10 and its silky smooth. The only problem I have is MMS doesnt send.
Make sure to wipe /system/ before you load this rom, I dont think its baked in. - 08-01-2012, 03:05 PM
