I watch a lot of YouTube too. After a couple of charges of the battery it seems to get real good.

Sweet! I thought you would like the battery life...it will get a little better to. Like the third day I couldn't believe it. I had 4 hours on screen and 1 day 1 hour on battery. Freaking awesome.

Been following this convo for a few days now. So are you good gents using a kernel from build 5 but using cm10 ro achieve this kind of battery life? Or are you just straight up using build 5?

Lol yeah this convo should probably be in the beans thread I made but this isn't xda so who cares. That is the difference on this forum we are willing to help and there can never be too many questions whereas on xda everyone jumps down your throat!

Yeah... I need to install Beans with stock kernal immediately. Do we have any idea why battery life would be so good with this combo? I've read that leankernal can be great for battery life, but what is Beans v5 doing that others arent?

I think a lot has to do with the fact that it isn't an aosp ROM. I believe it is based off touch wiz. Lean kernel works great with aosp not sure why the difference with this ROM. I've heard they don't work well together

I don't have setcpu...I do know that you can't mess with settings in stock kernel.
