Google now on cleanrom 2.1?

Hey guys. I really like what this rom has to offer. Anybody here using it or know some info about it? I'd really like to use google now with this rom. The problem is it can only be flashed onto deodexed roms if I understand the info correctly. is this rom deodexed or not? I've read conflicting info on this. How can I get google now on this rom if it's odexed? Is there a way to deodex it? I read on xda that some people are just deleting the odex file in the rom and the dev supports that as well, but nobody says how exactly they are doing that. Any info you guys can give me on this is much appreciated.

There are many APKs out there for Google Now. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with this ROM however I have not tried it. I am not a huge fan of the new Google Now APKs that are out there. They don't work like they would on JellyBean. It is a major annoyance for me that there is a persistent icon in the notification bar on top.

If you don't want to be bothered with deleted ODEX files or flashing something that potentially wont work I would recommend you flash Beans ROM. Its basically the same thing as CleanROM just slightly themed.

I have Google now on Clean Rom. It works just fine. Just Google "google now ICS apk" and you should find the APK. download then flash. Works fine (although it lags sometime).
