Default If I Root, Can I...???

I'm loving my Verizon S3, but... there are a few things I would really like to customize that I have yet to find a way to do. However, I don't know that I can do these things AFTER rooting, so I'm hoping the trusty AC community can help.

I got really reliant on my previous Droid flashing different colored LEDs to alert me when I receive different types of messages (text, FB, email). Right now it's seems to only notify me when I get an Exchange email message, not for texts or anything else. Fortunately, the sound notifications work pretty well, but I have those turned off when I'm at work. Is the LED reliable and customizable after rooting? Does Lite Flow work? Is there a specific ROM that works best?

The second thing that is making me a little crazy is getting notification badges to show unread message count on my Exchange email (via native email app) AND Gmail icons. If I stick with Touch Wiz, my Exchange shows an unread badge on the icon, but not on Gmail. I've yet to find a launcher that can handle both Gmail and Exchange, and having unread numbers on everything would be ideal.

Like I said, overall, the S3 is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get a Droid. But it's not the mountain in front of you, it's the grain of sand in your shoe...

Light flow lite will change the notification LED if rooted. But the mail thing.. I'm unaware. Right now I'm in the same boat. I have my inbox saying 1 when there isn't anything.

Thanks, that alone just might motivate me to root soon.

    LED Control with LightFlow yes.

To my knowledge/experience the badges can only be on one even with different launchers. I have not come across and app/mod that will change that.

Unread counts. I have nova prime. It only allows you to choose one email app to display messages.

FYI -- It's been a few weeks since I tried it out and they may have updated it since, but when I used Light Flow a while back it drained by battery something fierce.

I used Liteflow a few weeks ago and it was buggy as hell and a big battery drainer, an update fixed some of the battery issues but still buggy (stopped working, worked for some apps not for others)

I am now running CM 10 rom now and it has the ability to change notification lights for different apps built in. Works perfectly not to mention the rom is smooth too.
