    Default CleanRom Install Failed - E:Signature verification failed

    Went through the cookbook:
    1. Rooted
    2. Unlocked bootloader
    3. installed recovery (VZWGS3_EZ-Recovery2.2.apk
    4. copied CleanRom 5.5.1.zip to sdcard

    Boot into recovery - clean cache, data etc (did it a couple of times)

    When I "apply update from external storage" and select the CleanRom 5.5.1.zip I get:
    -- Install /sdcard/MEM ... (i have the cleanrom in this directory)
    finding update package...
    Opening update package ...
    Verifying update package ...
    E:signature verification failed
    Installation aborted.

    Anyone have any next steps for me to try?

    Use ClockWorkMod Recovery or TWRP Recovery.

    Found - all is well now. Didn't properly hit the flash button with the recovery manager
