I am on CM10 stable for the Verizon Galaxy S3. My NFC option gets greyed out whenever I try to enable it. I found a flashable zip online that reconfigures the NFC to work again and it did.

I then changed ROMs to CleanRom 5.1.1 to try it out. It wasn't for me and restored my most recent backup of CM10. My NFC was greyed out again and now the flashable zip doesnt fix my problem.

I then wiped everything and did a factory reset and then installed CM10 stable and did a Titanium Backup recovery of only my userapps (No system Apps). NFC greyed out as expected. I flashed the NFCfix zip and still it is greyed out for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated because I added tectiles to my cart and want to finish the order lol.

I reverted back to stock, rerooted, unlocked the boot loader and then reflashed CM10 and it still doesn't work.

I have the same problem. I went back to TouchWiz and enabled NFC, re-rooted and flashed back CM10 stable, even then NFC option is grayed out. I flashed the .zip , it still does not work.
Pls, let me know if you were able to fix this.

I am still sitting here without a fix unfortunately. I wish I could figure this out but it just doesn't make sense to me.

I tried deleting the data from NFC and no luck. Tried reflashing the zip after the delete and no luck. I even extracted the contents of the zip and pasted them in the sections they should be in and still a no go.

I had it working in one of my backups but when I do a recovery it doesn't work. Is there any way to extract the NFC settings from my recovery?

hey, I still have the same problem. I heard going back to ICS and enabling NFC and coming back to cm 10 works, but the problem is I am not able to find an ICS ROM now. All the links for ICS roms are deleted. Can you suggest me an ICS ROM for GS3 Verizon.
