Hi,

I just picked up a Verizon GS3. I want to use it for T-Mobile though, and I understand that I will most likely only be able to use Edge. I *think* I just rooted it... complete noob at this stuff. How do I unlock it??? It's running on 4.0.4.

I did some searching and saw that 4.1.1 will have an option that will allow me to use satellites other than what Verizon runs on... meaning ATT and Tmobile.. GSM or CDMA or w/e it's called... if that actually works... can anyone link me to a manual update to 4.1.1.

Here is some more info about the phone. Model no. Sch1535 . I'm not sure if that helps... But help would be very much appreciated!

You can flash any rom on xda to get you up to 4.1.2 but I don't know if that will get you on t mobile's network.
