S3 Soft Bricked. I should have known better.

I'll get straight to the point, soft bricked phone, finally after numerous attempts, i thought i had solved my problems. The phone boots up but get this message the process android .process.acore has stopped. Any ideas, searching did not help

What did you do to soft brick the device?

Samsung update took care of the issue, i'm good to go

Possibly an OTA update? Same thing happened to my phone this morning, curious as to how you got around it. I had to re flash my phone.
