Safe Strap CM installation

So I installed SafeStrap and now I'm trying to install CM but when I'm flashing the .zip file I get an error saying that the MD5 file couldn't be verified and so it is skipped. At the end it says the install was successful but when I try rebooting, the screen turns dark and nothing happens. Any ideas?

The file is skipped, or the verification is skipped? I haven't used Safestrap, but when I use TWRP and check the 'verify signature' box, if the file doesn't have a signature it just skips the file (and nothing gets flashed).

Which version of CM are you flashing? I thought Safestrap had very limited support for the types of ROMs that you could flash.

You can't use cm roms with safestrap. It has to be a 4.3 tw rom like alliance or any of the other builds for 4.3
