Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
I like this one too (5th one down): "Better Durability" Polycarbonate vs. Plastic.

Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
Please, they're both shaping up to be great phones. We win either way!
No need to further the silly arguments drummed up by marketing folk on either side.

Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
These marketing terms are definitely targeting uninformed customers that believe things without further consideration. Which I guess is most buyers.
Both phones are good. The HTC has its good points, just as the S3 does too. - 06-07-2012, 10:08 PM #7

Beats Audio is definitely a negative.

Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
In these forums here, which is for the Verizon Galaxy S3, it doesn't matter since the One X isn't coming at all to VZW.

Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
Two that jump out at me...
"Polycarbonate vs plastic?" Huh? Polycarbonate is a type of plastic.
On HTC touting the OneX as having 57GB of memory, since Dropbox takes the place of an SD card... Whoever wrote that is clueless -- pretty much anyone who says they need an SD card says the reason is either that we don't want to have access to our files count toward our monthly data limit, or we're out of signal range a significant portion of the time. & for the record, phones with an SD slot can access Dropbox too, so I suppose Samsung should claim that the new 32GB GSIII really has 121GB storage? - 06-08-2012, 01:48 PM #17
Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
70% better picture quality!!!!! Wtf?
Who measures the picture quality? And what makes it 70% better? - 06-08-2012, 03:00 PM #18
I sent HTC an email, with a couple of those pics attached. They confirmed they didn't come from HTC, and said that someplace called pricebaba had either fabricated or accidentally acquired the false documents so yes, y'all posting in a troll thread.

I'm in my 30 days I could switch in out for 30 bucks. I've seen my buddies international GS3 screen, and there is no way in *** I'll ever do that after comparing the 2 screens. Whoever says it's personal preference must prefer ridiculously dim screens with dull colors.

Re: HTC: Countering objections to the SIII
[HL][/HL][HL][/HL]As you can see in my original post (highlighted in yellow below). I ran across this, and thought I would share here in the S3 forum to pass the time while we wait for our phone. I have not been in your HTC forum trolling as you state. If anyone is trolling.........................well never mind.
BTW, I think the HTC One X is a good phone and I would consider getting one but unfortunately it is not available on Verizon. Sorry if you were offended, but life is too short to be popping veins over this. Hope your day gets better!
