I'm not seeing a charge to account option when I pre-order online and I was wondering if anyone else has seen or knows if this option is even available when ordering something online from Verizon, as I normally just pick up my items in store.

As a follow-up question: are you charged now or when the device actually ships?

It was not an option for me either. I think you can online on "in stock" phones just not on a "pre-order" phones.

None of us that pre-ordered have seen a charge so we're all assuming it's when it ships. That's how it usually does.

I pre-ordered a Samsung gs3 over the phone and could not charge it to my account. I had to provide a cc number.

You can't charge the account for a preorder. You must use a credit card.

And you get charged when the phone ships.

The Thunderbolt, Droid 1, and LG Dare were all done this way. I try to order the phone and have them put it on my bill and they say no... WTF. Whats the secret to doin it...

You can't. Pre-orders don't allow bill to account.

You don't get charged until they ship the device.
