    Default Best July Ever?

So many of us are waiting (im-)patiently for our new SGSIII's and it's looking like we won't be getting it in our grubby little hands until early July. (Which is fine with me because Big Red was very up front with me about the shipping date possibly being 7/9, but that is enough on that subject.)

I was just watching the Google IO '12 and saw the presentation on the Nexus tab (9?) as well as the Nexus Q. Both look unbelievably incredible and even game changing. The Q is the first device that I actually want to hook up to my TV or stereo monitors and get my media there. Sure the Xbox / Bluray player all have media apps and can access the internet, but I think Google with the power of Android have really captured so much in these products.

Long story short, pre ordered a Q, and its coming in July. I am going to assault a Fedex carrier as soon as mid-July rolls around and I don't have my Q or SGSIII.

Happy Hump Day, is it July yet?
You got to risk it for the biscuit

Sorry, the Q is incredibly overpriced for what it is - a last gen phone cpu without the cell radios. For $300 you can build a pretty decent HTPC!

But the rest of the things they announced all look awesome.

I thought it was very cool, but also wondered why this wasn't something that was a Google TV function. A bit confusing really. Maybe we will have more insight tomorrow - there are a few Google TV talks then.

Yea, I'm lost on this one too:

Nexus Q - No screen, wireless functionality, social integration, $300

Nexus Tablet - 7-inch screen, wireless functionality, social integration, plus a whole buncha other stuff, $199

I preordered the Nexus7! For $199, thats a steal (especially since I have the kindle fire as well.. which now is looking like a POS)
