Well I just @ 5:17PM got an email from Verizon saying my GS3 has shipped FedEx!

From FedEx tracking:

"Ship date Jul 3, 2012
Estimated delivery Jul 6, 2012 by 4:30 PM"

Ordered on 6/6 at around 7am. 16GB Blue.

It says July 6th but I live in NY. So I'm thinking the 5th the latest cause of July 4th.

Just received shipment notification too! Ordered 6/6 at 7:10 am est 32gb white. Overnight shipping expected 7/5 by 3pm. Guess there really was a distinction between "by" and "on".

You had to pay for the overnight shipping option when you ordered the phone. It was like $15 extra for overnight or Verizon ships two day for free.

I didn't pay for overnight. Maybe due to proximity to shipping center or because I have TEC? All my phone shipments from Verizion have been overnight except for accessories which have been two days.

You might be sitting good if you are close......I can order something two day and it'll will ship less than a hundred miles from me - but it still takes two days. All about the greenbacks.
