Had that message since yesterday afternoon. csr from earlier today made it sound like it was going out today. One I spoke to a few hours ago was much more honest "we don't know any more than what it says when you check the status of your order". What sucks is that I am probably going to have to go to the feed ex facility near me to pick it up anyway since I don't want it left on my doorstep and will most likely be working when it is delivered anyway next week.

I ordered a 32gb pebble blue on 6/22 around 730 pm
at the verizon store. I keep checking to see if its shipped, but all I see is "will be shipped by july 11". Ugh im impatient! Its like dangling a new toy in front of a kid and then taking it away lol. Im in Columbia, SC. I hope it ships soon.

I had my card charged today but still have the stats "Ship by 7/10". I talked with a VZW rep and he said that it shows FedEx has it but there just hasn't been a tracking# created...makes no sense. I don't mind if it doesn't ship till the 10th since that is what they've said all the time, but aren't they supposed to ship the same day they charge you for it?

That is normal. Are you able to check the status? Try using the pre order number in the order box and your last name EXACTLY as it is in the email. Verizon told me you won't see the orde on your account until it s processed.

Thank you! I also used a gift card to pre order and I was beginning to think that was why my order hasn't done anything yet. Also mine states "ship by 6/12"...I haven't heard of anyone else having that late of a date. Thought was because of gift card possibly. You have given me hope that MAYBE mine might get charged and shipped soon! :-)

Still nothing here. I didn't preorder until 6/27 though. I am not expecting anything sooner than 7/11. That's what my ship date says. I'm in DC metro area

Still no charge here. And no status change. At this point I'm guessing my pre-order will arrive well after I could have just walked into my local store and picked one up.

I think I am in the same boat as well. Ordered 6/22. Ship date 7/11 However for me it was through work which is how I have to order my phone. So I will wait it out. I drive right by a Verizon corporate store every day. If I had the option of picking it up there I would. Would be easier to boot (not having to worry about missing the Fedex driver).
I probably could make a stink with our account rep at work and possibly have the option to pick it up in store but it is a huge hassle and not really worth it to me.
I am anxious to get the phone too but nothing I can do but wait. Sucks Verizon doesn't seem to be filling them first come first serve. I would probably be annoyed if I ordered the first 2 or 3 days and still didn't have at least a tracking number. But for me all the ever promised is it will ship by 7/11. Did you pay retail, if so thatis an option. I would probably wait it out through the weekend and cancel Monday and cancel, if you are confidant the store will have them Tuesday.
That is what I would do if I wasn't concerned about my unlimited data, which I am on the fence about.
I am not telling you what to do, my strategy might be bad, but I am in the same boat, no charge yet, ordered on the 29th, but told my plan wouldn't change because of other issues I was having. - 07-07-2012, 08:47 AM #323

Ordered 32g Blue on 6/14. No charge, no email. Starting to get pissed as I see people who ordered the 32g Blue days after me getting their phones.

I put in an order online on 7/1 ( a little late, but I still had the ship date of 7/11 )
I got an email last night around 7 saying that my order was on hold:
Your order is scheduled to be processed. Average processing time is 3 days. You will receive a confirmation email when processing is complete and your device has shipped.
Many people received this message on the forum and said that it's usually related to credit cards not allowing the charge to go through, so I called as soon as I was free to do so around 11:30 PM EST. I got through to the tech department and they told had some trouble getting access to my account information but when they did, they said that my credit card was declined. I tried to see if they can change the payment method to a different card, but they have no power to do so in the tech department and the CS department was closed for the night.
So I ended up canceling the order and put in a new one as suggested by the tech rep. I ended up getting a shipment date of 7/24. I canceled it right away thinking why would I wait that long if I can just walk into a store and get one?
I just called a couple of the local Verizon stores and the sales reps say they are not sure if they are receiving any GSIII and that even if they knew, they're not allowed to disclose the information.
Long story short: Account was on hold (problem with CC) , tried canceling and putting in new order (new shipment date was way too late) , canceled that second order but now I'm not sure if I can even walk into a store and get one on the 10th.
HELP!
EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm not on unlimited since it's actually cheaper for my family to share data. So I don't need to worry about losing my unlimited, I just want to get my hands on the new phone as soon as possible!Last edited by tk020507; 07-07-2012 at 09:51 AM.
