Default The first 24hrs with the galaxy s3...

I love this phone. Easily the best cellphone I've ever had. We've all seen videos of this phone and its greatness. But with this thread I'm going to list things I'm surprised/disappointed about concerning the S3.

    1. WiFi toggle gone
    2. No text wrapping in the browser when you zoom in on text
    3. I keep hitting the volume rocker every time I attempt to lock phone
    4. Settings are annoying to navigate
    5. Can't create folders just by dragging icons unto another icon
    6. The browsers bookmarks is confusing
    7. I notified a little choppiness during video playback of my recordings
    8. I keep getting my emails in text and not full HTML. I have to hit "load more details" for the whole email to show with the pictures. I did set size to retrieve emails to "all"
    9. Can't turn 4G off if I so choose

That's it for now. What are your thoughts. Any solutions to some of the above?

Lemme see if I can help a little.

    5. Can't create folders just by dragging icons unto another icon
Try a different launcher, I like Nova Launcher. It gives one the ability to do that.

    6. The browsers bookmarks is confusing
Download Chrome for ICS. Its a much better Browser than the stock one IMO.

You hit all my gripes with that list. The volume keys are just in the wrong place for my hands. Overall though it's a great phone.

I thought creating folders by dragging icons to one another was a standard ICS feature. I could have sworn I could do that with the Nexus but not sure. I only owned it a couple of days. Did Samsung remove it?

    Can't do it in touchwiz.

Glad I didn't get it. Want to get the One X but can't do without proper multitasking. So I'm sticking with the GNEX for a while. JB just extended its life

This is a big deal to me. I really do not like using other launchers and folders is one of the biggest features of ICS. Is there no way to create folders with touchwiz? Seriously might cancel my order due to this...

Yes, you can. I believe you create the folder, then drag icons into it as oppossed to dragging icons on top of each other to create one.

Thanks. That's good to know. I surely did not think that such a key feature would be entirely removed.

You can create folders, just not as intuitively as ICS. Instead of dragging icons on top of each other, you have to go through several extra steps

Sounds like running a pure JB rom would cure your issues. Now we just need to get that bootloader figured out....

2, 6. Have you tried dolphin browser or other browser of your choice ?

    3. I use screen off app, I never use the power button to turn off the screen.

    8. Have you tried a different app? I use k9 for email and don't have a problem.

Emails don't come in full HTML? What's up with that?

For the emails make sure not only to retrieve all, that usually just means you are seeing all emails not just the past few days, but also set your limit on incoming data for the email app to "no limit" at least on my incredible I had to do that or the app would automatically set to a very small limit or text only.

    Just a thought.

I'm getting a lot if redraws almost every time I return to the home screen.
Is this a touchwiz problem? Cause considering the hardware, I wouldn't have thought this would happen.

Nova Launcher will be my launcher of choice that will serve its purpose and Dolphin Browser will be the 2nd downloaded app. Both make life easier...

The person I responded to specifically asked if you could create folders by dragging icons over each other. And you can't. Yes you can create folders. But as the question was asked, it was answered correctly.

And where would I find that option? I trust you don't have the S3 yet hmm,
