which location service do you use?

Just curious what others may be using whether it's Verizon ...Google ...or standalone?....also is there anyway to get rid of the GPS icon that's always on?

I use standalone and only turn it on when I am going to be using maps or something I need GPS location for.

There are two GPS icons. One is to the left on the notification bar and that is only on when GPS location is being used, the other is the emergency 911 crosshair next to the alarm icon.....no way to turn this off yet unfortunately. For this you will most likely need to install a custom ROM or flash a fix when/if they become available.

I always leave Verizon and Google location services on, and turn on GPS when I am using GPS only.

I use Google only.

I turn on GPS when I need it for geocaching or navigation.

I have never used Verizon location services. I figure they already know enough about my location based simply on through which towers my calls and data are routed.
