Custom call on home page

So on my Charge I had my wife set up as a direct call on one of my sscreens, can't do it with GS3. Anybody have solution?

Isn't there a direct call widget?

Long press on the homescreen, select shortcut, direct dial, choose from your contacts. Works in Nova Launcher anyway.

There is a 1x1 direct dial widget on S3 you can use. I use speed dial function off the stock dialer. (#1 is voice mail, #2 husband, and so on as an alternative to direct dial)

I set a folder on home screen and labled "phone" - then used direct dial widget for each of my 5 most used #s in the folder -
Works great!

I realize that this is an old thread, but I just got my S3 ...

On my DInc2 I could set up separate direct dial shortcuts for several numbers on the same contact (home, cell, work, etc). But, it appears that the S3 will only let me create one direct dial per contact. Is that correct? If not, how do I set up multiple direct dials for a single contact?
