Re: Selling my iphone 4s for S3
my guess Is that it would be quite a while before jb. Samsung non nexus usually take a long time. I have heard rumors of q4, but i am skeptical about that.

Re: Selling my iphone 4s for S3
I think you buy the dev S3 from Samsung. My s3 lasted me a full day the other day. I can't really compare to the gnex but it's way better than my incredible 2. And as for jb, it's up to Verizon and see how they want to screw us over with updates.

I came from the iPhone 4s and I love this phone I am really enjoying it and it lasts me all day usually unless you do some serious streaming but you wont get the same life as the iPhone the specs are just to big of a difference for that kind of life but I love it I would make the switch
These are some examples of pretty good use over lte and WiFi throughout the day

I also switched form the iPhone 4S, which I have had since the day after it came out. I am in love with the screen. It is just amazing. Battery life is just about the same for me unless I'm using GPS. Don't plan on going back to iOS anytime soon.

Re: Selling my iphone 4s for S3
I have a 4s which I am keeping and and S III.
iPhone has;
Slightly better text.
Better camera and software.
Excellent battery life.
Great app selection and quality.
Better build quality, service and support.
No bloatware.
A little smoother still but Android is getting there with minimal lag. Finally.
S III has,
Bigger screen but slightly worse text.
Better voice sound quality.
Much choice in alternate roms which you will need because stock sucks. - 07-17-2012, 08:10 PM #8

I've read somewhere that the hardware for the camera is the same with the 4s and s3
I can see why some might say the 4s has a better camera, it is heavier and there is thickness in the body that makes you grip it better and motion blur (movement of the camera while taking a still) is less likely because of the better grip. I am sometimes struggling to hold my s3 when taking photographs.

Re: Selling my iphone 4s for S3
Its all a matter of opinion to me I suppose, I was just doing a direct comparison with my sisters 4s tonight, and the pics on my GSIII were more accurate and looked just plain better IMO. She agreed which is a big stretch for her as she is a huge iphone fan girl. I have also read several professional reviews that take the same stand I am.

x2 ^
I miss my 4s to death. I just sold it so I can get the most money out of it before the next iPhone is announced. ($450) anyways, you will really like the S III. Its light, Slim, feels good in the hands and touch wiz isn’t too bad. The Camera isn’t as good as the 4s but I’m sure you’ll live

Re: Selling my iphone 4s for S3
I still have a 4s. My work phone was a Blackberry but now we are being issued iPhones. This gave me the opportunity to buy the S III on Verizon and still have an iPhone through work. I paid full price so I can upgrade to the iPhone 5 if I want for a subsidized price.
I work for a very well known global company with 65,000 employees. Android was reviewed but dropped from consideration as it is highly insecure. There are also no mass management tools of the type needed for thousands of phones.
Anyway its the best of both worlds to have a 4s and a S 3.
