Mine has seen 111F. Ambient at the time was around high 80s. What about you? what was the hottest your gs3 has seen?

You can use an app like "Battery Monitor Widget" from the play store to log temps.

I'll download that app and check back later. I was on the web and downloading apps for a while last night and the phone did get pretty hot, enough to make me let it cool down.....

How long had you been using the phone when it reached that temperature?

Curious why does the app show your battery as 1500mAh? Aren't they 2300mAh?

I saw 117 when using GPS & Pandora while charging on my dashboard (in the mount) for an hour during the hottest part of the day.

The hottest mine has gotten is 109.5. And that was, ironically, after beeing on the Android Central app. By the way, the AC app is the only one that freezes up on my phone. I believe an update is in order.

I don't have the exact temp as I didn't have the app installed at the time but running navigation and pocket casts while charging in my car dock which was attached to my windshield on a southern California day that hit 95 degrees made this happen.
