Perhaps it's because I've been home sick and mostly on wifi, here are my stats.

I have been getting fantastic battery life on this phone. Best so far for the androids I have had.

I am getting pretty good life on mine as well but oddly enough I get worse life with wifi on

Funny you mention that...I think I'm seeing the same thing. My droid x would noticeably save battery on WiFi, but the s3 seems to do the same or worse as 3g/4g.

also my droid x would show WiFi as a separate line item in battery usage...s3 doesn't.

I love the battery life compared to my earlier Androids: DInc, Fascinate, TBolt, Bionic and GN. It is lasting all day from 7a to Midnight!!!!

I think it's definitely that you've been home sick (get well soon btw) that you got that much life out of it.

I know when I was sick I barely used my phone too.

Aside from call quality, battery life is my favorite thing about this phone.

I agree. Having the Tbolt and Rezound before the S3 made me play it safe and buy an extra battery. I've had the extra battery for over a week now and haven't even swapped it out yet due to the better-than-expected battery life. I am impressed! I'm almost disappointed in my battery purchase.

I'm still gonna need 3 batteries with this phone. Maybe I won't need a double capacity zpare, 'though. If you use the phone a lot, it still drains the battery fairly quickly. When I travel and don't have access to a charger, I'm sure I will need that 3rd battery some days.

Yeah, the people who post those long battery lives don't use their phone much it's just no way.

Wow seems like some people really don't use their phone too often to get days out of their phone . I use it a lot and on average I get 12-14 hours average but sometimes I do go up 20 hours depending how much you use it but yes it is the best phone I've had with battery time especially since all my other phones had extended batteries and this s3 owns them all!

I recently flashed a stock rom stripped of most bloatware crap, with added JB animations and has something done to get better battery life and I'm getting the best battery life I've ever seen

This was not heavy use just in a drawer at work, checking it every now and then for messages but still over 6hrs on and still at 91% before I flashed this rom I would have been at 70% after 6hrs
