    Default Text resizing

S3 is 24 hours old and loving it so far. Coming from a TB the growing pains have been few and minor at best. The keyboard and predictive text is a pain. I can see me installing another keyboard before the end of the day.

quick issue that I haven't been able to resolve.

The TB would allow you resize the browser text. Once you resized the text, the browser would rearrange the text to fit the screen instead of the user needing to scroll from side to side. The S3does allow text resizing, but I can't find a setting to force the screen to adjust to the new size and not need to scroll from side to side to read.

    Any ideas?

This is one difference between HTC and Samsung phones. Try using Opera Mobile. It lets you reflow text in most windows.

Personally, I don't like Opera Mobile because of a few probems caused by their servers, but it does work well for this one feature.

Best compromise for me has been Dolphin HD with their text resizing add-on. Certainly not ideal, but there are a number of great things about Dolphin HD.

Thanks, I installed Dolphin HD, but it only does the text resize. I tried Opera and it does the reflow and resize.

Now I can get the S3 for the wife.

While browsing go to settings, advanced and click the auto-fit pages box.

Only works for 1 double-tap resizing, not for any subsequent pinch-zoom resizing.

I tried that and it doesnt work. Opera seems to be the way to go for this issue.

Never heard of Maxthon before so I just checked it out. Works pretty well. Text resizing does work, but it jumps around a little bit.
