Staples $50 Trade in + VZW $30 credit

I am interested in getting the Samsung Galaxy SIII and saw the $50 trade-in allowance at Staples...

I also have $30 upgrade credit from Verizon -

Has anyone been able to combine the two credits when they upgrade?

any Verizon upgrade credit is usually only available if you purchase straight from verizon.

Hey Random question for all of you. If you buy from amazon or staples or anywhere other than Verizon, and something goes wrong with the phone within the first year and it needs to be replaced or fixed, will verizon still do it?
