worth it to wait for Developer edition?

so Samsung announced the developer edition of the vzw SGS3 a month ago and yet we still don't have it. do you guys think I should wait for it to come out or just get a regular SGS3? unfortunately, I need to buy on an off contract price, so that's not the issue.

also, would dev for the unlocked SGS3 be different from the regular vzw version?

I don't think anyone has heard anything about the developer edition since it was first announced. The developers around here have found ways to get around the locked bootloader, so it's not really an issue. I'd say go for it and get one now.
