Square Trade Warranty... Looking for Helpful Opinions
I am seriously considering the Square Trade warranty. 2 years coverage for $125 with a $100 deductible.
I'm aware it's a one shot deal if say the phone takes a bath or similar. I am very responsible with my smartphones, so it's unlikely I would use the insurance, but I'd like to hear opinions and hopefully some real stories of people's experiences with Square Trade.

I'm going to do this soon with sparetrade. Just have to do with within their 15day policy. I just may do 1 YR for $69.99. I've read alot of positive things about them and have seen many people give them high reviews. I think their one of the top product warranty around. I never had to actually use them but from what I've seen the deductable isn't bad and the price is right. It actually costs me more if I use the $6.99 by azurion <sp?> that verizon had.

Spoke with a Square Trade rep the other night and was told that coverage can be started anytime within the first 90 days of the phones purchase.
Several years ago I listened to an interview of the owner of Square Trade on the Today In iPhone podcast and Rob (podcast host) put the owner through a long list of insurance scenarios. I was impressed with the way he answered questions, so I have a favorable opinion already, but there is nothing more helpful than real world experiences.

Re: Square Trade Warranty... Looking for Helpful Opinions
Are all of you who are considering the Square Trade warranties outright buyers of their device, that is you paid full retail? I always thought that you couldn't get a ST warranty on subsidized equipment.
I've heard of people getting coverage through their homeowners policies though.a little obsessive... - 08-17-2012, 05:11 PM

No, they offer accidental coverage for the first year and extend it after the first year regardless of the phone being subsidized or an outright purchase.
It seems like a no brainer, but I want to talk to someone who's filed a claim and had the real experience of being made whole/paid.
