Double Entries in Stock Music Player

Background: I use DoubleTwist to sync my iTunes to my phone. I synced a playlist and figured out after it was done that I synced it to the phone storage when I wanted it to sync to the sd card. So I deleted those files and re-synced. Now when I open the stock music player, all of the old ghost files are there and won't play. So I have double entries of everything - one that works and one that doesn't.

I've cleared the data, force stopped til I'm blue in the face, and I can't get rid of the ghost tracks. Does anyone know how to get this taken care of?
