Call and surf on LTE

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if while in lte area, if youre on a call, can you still get emails or surf the web ? Thanks

Yes! You should also be able to do it in a 3G area with this phone. Although I have never tried surfing in 3G, I have received emails while on a call. This leads me to believe I had an active data connection while on the call.

correct, the s3, and some other 4glte phones can do svdo and svlte.

I just tried on 3g and it said I had no Internet connection.

Edit: never mind. It works fine. I had just lost data at that exact moment. I'm in a spotty area at best.

I have also talked on the phone (using 3G or LTE) while tethered devices have been surfing on the internet, sending & receiving emails, streaming music and/or video etc. at the same time. Worked well for me.
