my phone wont recieve messages over a page long

I just got my Samsung galaxy s3 a few weeks ago and last night it started not receiving or sending messages that are over a page long. Please help

Are you referring to SMS? Messages over 160 characters? Are you using the stock messaging application?

Yea thats what I'm talking about but idk what the stock messaging system you're talking about it?

GSDer is asking if you have installed a different SMS application other than the default which is simply called "Messaging". I believe the default behavior for the messaging app is after a SMS message gets past a certain size it breaks large messages into multiple messages. I do not typically use SMS to send long messages and thus have not seen this recently, but I have seen it in the past when sending long messages. If this is what you are referring to, it is normal for SMS messages.
