I am getting S3

I am awaiting the delivery of my new phone.
Question:
I have been reading of people flashing their roms for whatever reasons.
Do I really need to flash to another rom? Isn't the stock S3 rom good enough?
I ask this because I coming over from the Droid Bionic where their flashing was pretty much automated.
The S3 flashing looks a little intimidating.

I just got my gs3 last thursday and i love it so far but i hate to admit it but i liked motoblur on my bionic gb and droid razr ics better but that might have been bc i was so used to it...i think stock is just fine

Stock is great not really a "need' to root and ROM only reason I did is cause I like my mods

I was running stock for a while and then installed CM10 for a while. It works well. I did go back to stock but I may flash another jelly bean rom. Stock is good though. I don't like touch wiz though. I use Nova launcher. I definitely recommend SwiftKey for the keyboard though.
