I have no idea where this album is from. It just appeared and it has pics in it that are some of my friends fb profile pictures. The icon of the album is a cloud but I don't have any cloud service. I know the S3 has albums appear from other people on the network but since this is a home network, no idea how it's there. Any suggestions

I had the same issues...it had to do with foursquare (per verizon)...it was backing up all the foursquare photos....I shut off backup except for contacts

Back up in phone settings or is there a feature in foursquare I am not seeing?

yeah, all my Touchdown emails with any photos of any kind are now showing in my gallery in the album titled "Backup + Pictures". I've deleted the backup + folder from the phone and fixed it so they don't continue to appear with new images, but I can't get rid of the album in my gallery. If I click on it and try to delete anything, it just hangs until force close. Any thoughts?

maybe you have the sync facebook option on and its pulling from there. try turning off the sync

I reactivated Verizon's Backup + Assistant, let it back up a couple of photos, then stopped the sync, deleted the album, deactivated Backup+ and now the album is completely gone. Also went onto verizonwireless.com account and removed the feature completely.
