S3 Is Pinging When Plugged In

I've only had my S3 for about a week. When I have the phone plugged in to charge, it is making a pinging sound (sound like sonar) every 5-10 seconds. It doesn't do it all the time just sometimes. I travel frequently, so I rarely used the stock charger which is plugged in behind a desk at home and not easy to access to plug in & unplug. Any ideas or suggestions?

My phone only does the ping...ping when I first connect the charger. I dont think it has anything to do with what charger you use because I use up to 4 different chargers with the same result.

Mine does the "ping..ping..ping" thing when it's connected to my Verizon car charger while I am driving. Any other time at home on my AC charger it's fine.

Mine doesn't do it in the car. When I charge plugged into an outlet, it either doesn't do it at all, or it does is the whole time it is plugged in. Very Annoying.

Bad connection. One of my car chargers did the same. Just tossed it this morning.
