Have had a screen come up or shall I say not come up. I keep getting Unfortunately, Touchwiz has stopped working. I am on stock and never been rooted or tried. I also have no other laucher installed on my device. I am able to hold down power button and restart or shut down is preferred and start up after a battery pull first extra oomph. This has happened on various occasions and not with any particular app.

The phone is 5 days old.

Please see screen shots

Sounds like a permissions thing. Sometimes stuff happens like this. THe first thing I would do is do a factory reset. If the problem keeps happening, I would return it to where you bought it.

Another option is to clear the TouchWiz cache and data. This will reset TouchWiz without resetting the phone. Settings>Application Manager>All>Touchwiz Home, then Clear Data and Clear Cache.

Note that doing this will require setting up your home screens, but will not wipe apps or other data.

Good luck!.

Tried clearing in settings and still had issues. I did a full reset including formatting the external SD card. Only new a few days so time will tell.

Thank you.

Tried this method a few different times and finally gave up to do a full reset. I also did a re format of my SD card for safety sake. I can safely say I started from scratch again.
