My battery life was terrible for the first week. Today it started get better. I'm not sure what changed. I was about to do a factory reset until I saw a turn for the better today. I still may do it just haven't had the time. I have a bunch of apps. I may need to do some winter cleaning

. Although today I did notice the media server took up about 24% of my battery life. Not sure what that is all about.

My device upgraded and battery life is terrible! It drops to 70% within two hours of little if any use! Also, "Media Server" and "Media" are regularly running when I have never seen them run as often on ICS. Is there something I am doing wrong? Should I factory reset and purge some apps? Please help!

I'm happy with my battery life with jellybean and WiFi with 3hrs of screen time.

Im rooting and gonna run cleanrom. I had it on my past GS3 and it was great. But i here that root 4.1.1 is a pain, my luck I'll root and 4.1.2 will get pushed and I'll lose root. Haha.

Right now im getting 10-12hrs normal use. 14hrs if im light. Coming from a htc thunderbolt, and a razr m i was getting 24hrs on one charge.

Yeah rooting on 4.1.1 is a pain.... Simply because if you mess up well running in Odin you can really mess up your phone... But no dought cleanrom is worth it... So stable

<-- has 7000mah ZeroLemon battery. Currently battery is at 35% after 3 days, 5 hours and about 20 minutes since I took it off the charger

Absolutely terrible battery life. Those blank spots are when the phone crashed. It only shows 2‚ but it was closer to 7 or 8 times. Media Server is the main battery hog if I don't remember to stop it when I boot the phone.
