I know a lot of people are really excited about having that brightness slider there, but my wife and I are not as excited. We use auto brightness all the time and the slider, though nothing wrong with it, is extremely annoying to have in the notification menu.

I've done some searching around on this and XDA as well as on the phone and so far no one has found a way to "disable" or delete that. There is a flash that will get rid of it, but the OP used creative licensing for some color/font/graphic changes that we don't particularly want. Has anyone else found a way around the slider, yet?
