Whenever I am watching YouTube on wifi it is constantly buffering. I often have to switch off "HD" just finish the damn video. When I'm on 4G its fast and no buffering. I have an N router on fios. It isn't just my wifi its any wifi. I'll post my speeds for wifi and 4G I don't see any reason it should perform so badly over wifi. Anyone else have this issue?

I have the same problem on a nexus 4. My internet speed is 20mbps an yet I can't watch any video that isn't preloaded. Buffering doesn't work properly either, it plays 10 seconds, stops to buffer and plays another 10 seconds instead of buffering the required data for uninterrupted playback

Same problem here on my iPhone 5 that I want to dump for the gs3

I think the problem might be that servers are overloaded on Friday nights on the YouTube side. I think if you are using the youtube app you will get a different nitrate requested on 4G as opposed to WiFi (this is certainly the case in the iPad)
