Stop Verizon Voicemail and Email from running all the time?
I don't use either Verizon Voicemail or the native email app at all, only use the gmail app. Yet, when I look at running apps, they're usually there. Also, my Contacts app has been running lately, even though I hardly ever use it. The "disable" buttons are greyed out for Voicemail and email apps, and can't uninstall them, either.
Is there a way, without having rooted my phone, that I can stop them from being run all the time? Since I don't use them, I doubt that they do much more than get started (for some reason), but it is annoying to have them sitting around in the run queue all the time.
I'm probably just stuck, but I thought that I'd ask.
