someone sent me a .mov video sent from an iphone. i cant open it on my s3. doesnt open on my toshiba thrive either. what am i missing here

The .mov format is usually associated with apple QuickTime movies/videos. Whatever you try to watch it on usually needs a QuickTime codec installed.
