Just a quick question. I normally use Chrome as my browser bit I noticed the "save for offline reading" feature in the stock browser. I go in and out of service range alot so this would be a cool feature of I could figure out where they go once I save them..
I tried looking in the file manager and other places to no avail. Where the heck do they get saved? I'm sure it's just something simple i've missed, but if someone could help me I'd appreciate it.

They are in the browser. Open the browser, hit the menu button, hit the bookmark icon at the top, then select the saved pages tab.

Hi Aseel87,

The saved web page goes to /data/data/com.android.browser/files/a_binary_file.

The binary file is a Skia Picture object. Don't know this in more detail.
I would be pleased if anyone can help me understand the internals of saving the Skia Picture object.

Enjoy :)

Is there any chance that I can get access to this file without root?
/data/data/com.android.browser/files/a_binary_file

Just because the pages saved offline take up about 300 MB, which is too much... I need that space.
(At the same time, I also need those pages for later.)

I'm using Chrome and I found them in
/data/data/com.android.chrome/app_chrome/Default/Offline Pages/archives/
You may need to be rooted to view this directory
I'm also on a LG g4 using resurection remix (but that shouldn't matter for this)

how do you exactly go there? I've searched data using my file explorer and it only showed folders named data but didn't have anything in it
