Re: question for apex launcher users
It will but only for Gmail (if you set your gmail account up in the Email app). It doesn't show for Exchange. Don't get me started...

Re: question for apex launcher users
I was able to get the notification count working for Exchange email with Nova Launcher, but it wasn't easy.
If I remember correctly I used the Tesla Unread Plugin along with something called Missed it!. I think the same combination will work for Apex.
I can't remember the exact set-up or why I needed both. But it's working.
I just hope I don't have to rebuild the phone any time soon. - 01-20-2013, 10:19 PM #4
Re: question for apex launcher users
I'm in the exact same boat. The amount of benefits from Apex does outweigh not having the badge...but barely. At least if you have the badge on the lock screen it will still show up there. I typically go into email (Exchange) first if I see i have a message waiting when I go to unlock anyways.
It's a stupid problem especially considering it is falsely advertised. Do we know if the devs are aware of this? Doing anything about it?
