    Angry Phone sluggish and unresponsive, battery wears out quickly: dhcpcd using majority of battery

    Has anyone else experienced this issue with their S3 on stock JB? There's no way to shut off this process since it is apparently part of the system, but it is causing a major problem.

    DHCPCD is a wi-fi related process. It seems that others (here and xda) have solved this by a simple reset of their router or by configuring the router to assign a static IP address to your phone (how to do this depends on your router). Hopefully one of these will work.
