Default Did I fry my battery

So here's the thing. In my career I am pretty much on the road for 12 hours at a time. I have a computer terminal next to me that I use to charge my gs3. It takes forever (which I understand ) for the last few weeks now it won't completely charge from either my computer or when I plug it in with my home outlet with oem charger. And now it drains crazy fast. Like I have been on it ten minutes today and it's down 9 percent. What I'm wondering is if by leaving it constantly plugged into my computer while driving (even after it reads 100 pecent) did I ruin my battery. Any thoughts??

It is not ideal to leave the phone plugged in when full. On my Samsung Galaxy Note2, it stays at full charge, and didn't cycle down to 95% like some other phones. I can't remember if my gs3 was the same way or not

Though the gs3 hasn't been out that long, could be something else. Try using. Gsam to see what is really using your battery. Also, the battery should be under warranty, bring it to a Verizon Corporate store and let them check it out.

No, it does NO harm to leave it plugged in. In fact, that is probably the best thing you can do as long as you keep the phone out of the hot sun. Charging it in the heat can be bad for the battery.

It sounds like you have an app running wild and using a lot of power.

Are you leaving WiFi on all the time? There's an issue with WiFi DHCP service running and draining the battery excessively. I had it on my phone, so I made a widget on the home screen to toggle WiFi on and off if I notice my phone lagging or draining too quickly. I also wanted to note that I leave my phone charging on my USB port all the time. And also this motherboard has 3x power or something like that. I'm not sure if that helps charging the S3 or not, but wanted to mention it.
