Any way to fix the MICROPHONE??

I have a 3 week old Galaxy S3 I-535 that happened to go through a cycle in a high efficiency washing machine (thanks to a kind hearted person who decided to do my laundry while I was asleep). It was taken apart, cleaned, and dried thoroughly for approx a week. Everything powers on and works fine except it makes crackling noised periodically and when you make a call, the microphone doesn't work (I can hear fine, they just can't hear me.) I can see where the two microphones are, but don't see any easy way to replace them other than swapping the motherboard. Any ideas?

You can check out this microphone moduele part for the i9300 (s3) I'm not sure how replacing it goes but perhaps there is video online on replacing a microphone moduele! seems like an option to consider for the risk takers.
