    Default Ad free program?

Forever ago, there was an ad free app to stop unwanted app ads. Does such a program still exist? I would love to stop those annoying ads when I open apps on my phone.

Apparently Google took them all down from the Play Store...

See this thread for more info. There are some APKs you can download from there, including the AdFree app, but I'm pretty sure you have to be rooted to use it.

Download and install F-droid ( http://f-droid.org/FDroid.apk). Open it search for AdAway.

If you don't want ads, stop using apps that are supported by ads.

But ads on sites like androidcentral are what make them revenue so they can continue to have an awesome site! And by blocking the ads they won't make any money

Is that also your advice for people who use popup blockers?

This is what I did and I'm happy with the result. AdAway works very well, just remember to have it check for updates to its database once a week or so.
You know, I've never met anyone like you before. Usually when I meet someone new I feel awkward and shy. But with you it's different.
