Verizon S3 volume issues

Hey everyone. On my galaxy the volume turns on randomly. I put it on vibrate and when I check a hour later when its been in my pocket the whole time it is on sound. Anyone else having this issue?

When you are adjusting the volume are you doing so via Settings > Sounds > Volumes? Max sure to adjust the ringtone volume.
