Printing an email from gmail

We have always been able to print to our wireless HP printer from our gmail account. We tried again today and were unable to. We have downloaded Google Chrome and we have the e-print app from hp installed as well. We can access the share via, then have chose both could mail and hp e-print but neither allows us to print. Are we missing something? It just sits there in progress after it goes to print jobs

I have never done wireless printing, as my last printer has been gone over 10 years, but I would guess there is some kind of update for the printer, or perhaps a driver missing for the PC.

Is this only on one phone or multiple phones?
Does the HP app that you installed have any kind of printer status?

Galaxy update
Multiple phones
When I print form a file or a photo it works from eprint
If I try to directly print and email...it says hp print has stopped
If i try to print from the cloud it says in progress but never prints

What changed between 'always' and today?
