    Default Unwanted contacts

When I go to verizon email app and create email search for a contact of a friend say the first three letters of first name I see contacts that I never created no do I know them. I have searched through every app and I can't find them to delete them off the phone. How do I get to the raw data file that the contacts are saved in. Kind of the the vcs files?

I would first turn off any data and then try to create your email. If they don't show up then it is from somewhere other than your phone.

With the Contacts app open, press the Menu button and select "Import/Export" and follow the prompts.

You could also try something like Excel<->Contacts Lite: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...elcontactslite

Maybe your email is set to collect all email addresses. That can start filling up the address book fast.

First pull up one of the contacts. Sees if it is on Phone itself or within Google contacts. Some may also be on your SIM card.. From there you may be able to delete all by pulling up contacts just from that source.
Personally, I have always had problems using Verizon saving my contacts going back to when you could only save 5 numbers with no other info. Yes I am that old and have been on Verizon or before they were Verizon for over 15 years.
