Does Foxfi work with the new Kit Kat Update for Galaxy S3 w/ Verizon Carrier

Last week my Galaxy S3 wanted to download a software update (believe it is Kit Kat). I have put it off as I don't want to lose use of Foxfi. Can anyone tell me if it still works after the update?

Also considering updating to S5....can anyone tell me if Foxfi works on it?

That last update wasn't KitKat, it was a small update to allow roaming on a Canadian network. LTE doesn't do PRL's so they have to do updates to roaming differently.
You may have better luck asking in the custom ROMs section either here or on XDA, since those people probably ARE running KitKat, and, if their ROM doesn't support tethering internally, then they can at least answer with real experience instead of guessing.
