    Default Hot Spot App

I have a Verizon S3 with unlimited data and I am looking for a app that will allow me to have a hot spot so I can occasionally use my PC to connect to the hot spot. The apps that I tried all said that I needed some subscription from Verizon. I am only needing it maybe once a month so I do not want to pay for some subscription.

    Does anyone have a suggestion?

PDAnet + FoxFi = under 8 bucks and works great.

If you only need it once a month, you can add it the day you need then remove it. You would only be charged a buck for one days usage.

I was wondering, I read that with Kit Kat Verizon will shut down the ability to use Fox Fi. As a result I won't upgrade the OS. Is this not the case? I am worried to lose that functionality.

If your phone is rooted there is a way to get a hot spot which I installed but don't have the info readily available. If you want it I can try to find it again.
