Default Verizon HTC One different from Original Model?

Verizon version of HTC One is horrible. This is my Second Verizon HTC One too. I still have my HTC One from Sprint, compared it both phones side by side in performance, camera quality, screen quality and sound quality. The first thing I noticed is that the Verizon HTC One's boom sound is dumb down. There's no bass and the volume is quieter even when both phones are on the same volume level. Next was the Camera Quality, definitely you could tell, just by looking at it the huge difference between the phones. Verizon once again made the camera quality looked so crappy because of this reasons: Auto Focus is not "Auto" focusing at all unless you do it manually (duh), Colors are washed out, Black levels are washed out way beyond that if you placed both phones on a blacked out area (where you literally just see darkness everywhere) you'll see that the Verizon version of the HTC One has this glowing washed out black level around the screen. Next is the screen quality, there was a tiny difference between the two phones, Verizon's whites are yellowed (actually it goes with other colors too but it's barely noticeable). Now the performance, the Verizon has a 4.2.2 android version, while Sprint has the 4.1.2 version. Though both phones are the same in terms of hardware and components, Sprint's HTC One performed the best. Just on moving the screen, scrolling up and down, you can tell that the Sprint's HTC One is a lot smoother. I used this program called Quadrant Standard, Sprint's HTC One averages on 61fps and did not have drastic changes in fps on any section of the test. The Verizon's HTC One, however averages a 59fps and had drastic changes in fps on 3 sections of the test. It went from 59fps to 37fps and it was running 37fps on the last section of the test.

here's a link of a side by side camera picture i took with both phones:

I looked at pictures and the difference you see is not because they changed the sensor, they did not.
THe hardware is the same. There are numerous reasons that the pictures could be/are different.
Unless you mount the phones and take the pictures at the same time. You will not get the same picture. I see differences in points of focus.
That will effect the picture quality and white balance. I can't tell if the cameras were set up exactly. You have too many variables.

There are parameters in what is considered acceptable in manufacturing.
You could have gotten a bad Verizon sample, I don't know.

Verizon did not change the hardware...

As far as the sound goes I heard something about 4.2.2 changing the volume level max or something when htc pushed that update. I'm on att 4.3 gpe.

I see. All I know is that on areas where there are no light, the picture quality slowly changes to a more washed and blurry image. Also, the camera on the Verizon HTC ONE does not focus as fast as the Sprint HTC One, I had to refocus by tapping area on the screen where it needs to be focus. The settings I used for both phones are exactly the same, however I had both phones side by side like this:

Also, I went up to a different Verizon store, and they also have the same issues I'm having my HTC One. I'm a little overwhelmed that Verizon is not selling the same HTC One like the one from Sprint but I would rather have signal to the place I'm going to be stationed.

Well, that eased up my mind a little bit. I just hope there's a way to at least get the screen quality back.

It isn't a "different" One. What you are experiencing is what happens with any mass-produced electronic device. The build, parts, and everything except the software, is the same between them.

That pink/purple tint you see from the Verizon camera is a known problem with many One users.
